Apple Spice Muffins

These Apple Spice Muffins are moist, tender, and bursting with cozy fall flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1-3/4 cup flour
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 2 large Dakota Layers eggs
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 granny smith apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Add flour and melted butter into a large bowl.
  2. Crack two eggs and add into flour mixture, whisking with a hand mixer.
  3. Then add brown sugar, apples and milk. Mix well.
  4. Add baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg, whisking until well combined.
  5. Distribute the muffin mixture evenly into a 12-cup non-stick muffin pan.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked all the way through.

  7. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture on top of baked muffins and serve warm!
